Serre Chevalier 27 December 2009
Lovely, lovely, lovely. That’s my short version of the situation here. I took a picture, so have a look at that, I think it says more than a thousand words.
So to save us all some time:
sunny, quiet, some wind – but not as bad as sign-posted, some bobbly patches, fantastic snow on L’Yret, Cucamelle still a favourite, still got that icy point just above Frejus.
Best day of the season so far.

Looks great!! thanks for a great site! I check in every day. arriving in serre on the 9th jan just hope the same conditions greet us.
You should be fine by Jan 9th. It’s low cloud at the moment, but bright. Probably not going up today, but will give it a try tmrw. The forecast is more of the same for a week, but with more snow, got maybe 6″ last night. The rain they keep promising hasn’t arrived, so that’s something.
