The Serre Chevalier ski area invests €10 million

The ski area of Serre Chevalier has announced that projects underway this summer for the 2010-11 ski and snowboard season will total €10 million including a new chairlift.

• Ski area 7th high speed six seater chair which will quickly link Villeneuve to Monêtier les Bains area

• Increase capacity and upgrade efficiency of the snowmaking system which is already one of Europe’s largest.

• Miscellaneous pistes improvements for the comfort and safety of skiers of which 2 new gazex (Avalanches control systems)
