Snow Connections is an independent school with a great mix a French and British instructors. All the instructors are completely qualified and have been working and teaching in Serre Chevalier for many years. We believe that skiing should be sociable and good fun. Coaching is available for children and adults in skiing and snowboarding.
 
A brief outline of some of our courses: 

Technical Coaching Courses

3 day courses for all levels give you the time to practise and consolidate what you have learnt during your morning lesson. With your free days you can explore the great resort of Serre Chevalier or maybe take advantage of the free days skiing in other resorts included on your Serre Chevalier lift pass. The courses are limited to 6 per instructor to maximise your progress and allow for individual correction and feed back. Having just 6 per group also allows you to move quickly around the mountain using lift queue priority. Our mission is to get your skiing to really improve and help you make a breakthrough.
 
Everyone needs to progress at his or her own pace so additional private coaching can be taken to top up your 3 day course.
 
Below are some objectives for the various levels.
However the lessons are your lessons, so we are happy to include any other particular goals or sort out any other problems you may have.
 
Beginner - Your way onto the mountain. Learn to ski confidently on easy slopes.
Level 1 - Learn to ski with your skis parallel on easy slopes.
Level 2 - Start skiing faster, move onto reds, initiation of carving skills.
Level 3 - Develop your carving skills, get better on blacks, make tighter shorter turns.
Level 4 – Move onto more varied terrains, bumps, off piste and steeps. 

One off workshops

Our workshops are for those who feel comfortable on most pistes and wish to develop specific points.
Our one off workshops are “Bumps and Backcountry” and the “Speed Workshop”. They are available in the morning on Tues and Thursdays.

Children’s Lessons

Skiing with children can always be a little delicate to organise. Our courses to start off the little ones are limited to 6 per instructor, so the helping hand is never too far away.
Once they have mastered the basics the groups are limited to 8. Everyone in our lessons goes home with a medal.
The children are assessed over the week on their speed, technique and mountain safety.
