Today is the Fête de l’Ecole at my daughter’s school at Fortville, Briançon. Part of the celebrations include the Vente du Pain where you can buy fantastic bread cooked in the communal oven.
This amazing looking loaf is a Seigle (rye). 3€ may seem pricey but I have just had a slice with Marmite and Sue had some with blueberry jam and it was lovely.
