This don’t scan right

by Fergus Rainbow on July 3, 2010

Well this is something Serre Chevalier.org reported ages ago, but as ever it takes a while for the news to percolate into the main stream, there is a link between full body scanners being rolled out in a police state near you and cancer.

The Daily Mail has picked up on this story and ”scientists say radiation from the scanners has been underestimated and could be particularly risky for children.”

I flew out of Turin and Stanstead recently and there were no sign of these machines being used, but I’m sure it’s only a question of time before they’re introduced “for our own good and protection.”

Oh well, safe travelling everyone.

Fergus, stop wittering on about nowt and come down for a drink this week, how about Tuesday or Wednesday evening, say about 7.30? Think I’ll stick to travelling by car just in case.

both good, maybe we could go for a walk up and behind Monetier – non-ski side?

Off on the bikes tomorrow, but I won’t be doing anything strenuous.. gentle cycle up to Chez Fi nettefor lunch might be my limit. Up for a walk later though. What time ? 5pm ish? Dog will need her legs stretching too.
