Well here you go: the final brick in the wall has been done and it is looking pretty good I reckon. The guys seem to have left some strange holes, for no apparent reason – or is it? I’ll talk about them next week sometime, but for the moment ‘the wife’ seems to think they are something to do with stashing sandwiches and drinks in when you are working in the garden. Not sure myself – I’ll take a photo in the morning and we can have a discussion about it.

pps – loving The Wall.
That is some fine wall you got there Mr Lomas, I’m sure you and your family will enjoy that contruction for years.
It’s sad to see the completion in one way as it had become a part of my life.
Perhaps the holes are to allow water to drain through so that pressure doesn’t build up and eventually collapse it?
Gru yeah oh yeah!
BTW I’m only 1 year old
Rosie – I’m going to use your comment for an example to demonstrate the avatar function in Wordpress (I hope)
