Last Friday I spent an excellent hour and a half on the slopes with Darren, getting some expert tuition with my skiing. Darren is British, but has lived and worked in Serre Che for many years. He holds all the BASI qualifications and if you see him skiing down the mountain you will say to yourself ” I want to ski like him!!”. He excels in watching your technique and tuning a lesson to fit your level, with exercises which easily demonstrate the science behind skiing. After guiding me through a suitable warm up, he helped me improve my upper body posture and taught me about using my edges and leg position to make better S shaped turns until I was fairly dancing down those slopes! Sexy skiing! Darren specialises in small groups, and his one to one lessons are really valuable, since he can spot when you are “in the learning zone” and ready to progress with new or more advanced techniques.
