Sometimes, you’ve just got to know when to stop, particularly if you’re a skier.
Now the French resort of [tag-tec]Serre Chevalier[/tag-tec] has introduced an innovative new concept in skier safety training called ‘The Reflex’ – an area where skiers can test their speed in order to control and improve their braking.
With an 80m run-up, skiers aim to stop as quickly and safely as possible. Records then show whether their speed was controlled – or not!
Also, in the [tag-tec]Arva Park[/tag-tec], skiers are given the chance to gain awareness of the reality of the mountains to help more advanced skiers gain back country skills before they go off-piste.
Fancy testing your abilities?
