Will be staying at Grand Hotel at Chantemerle 17 Jan for a week, through Nielsons. Will go to station bar and ask for Gary.
@Dave Blanden: Hi dave … thanks for the comment. I’m not sure what is happening at The Station next week as there are some plans to do a bit of a ‘fund raiser’ next week for the Haitian Earthquake. But there will certainly be some good apres ski entertainment and stuff like that. Do ask for me (as well as Gary) and say hello if I am about – I’m usually playing bass in The Harper Brothers on Thursday and Friday.
You don’t think that’s a bit sad?
I’m 42 for God’s sake
Fergus, I’d love to call you old but I can’t for chronological reasons. Anyway..you know that I don’t do anything unless there is a very good reason to do it..Twitter: the kids love it, but there is a bigger monster (that begins with G) that loves it too. Now, stop being so grown up and get yourself a Twitter account go twitter this Serre Chevalier Twitter post – and yes I did that for a reason too
We have a brand new server now so let’s Rock & Roll (the kids love it)
Yeah, I’m down with that, the kids are all right, nickel (as the locals might say) or nickel chrome even.
I can still be curmugeonly right? Bah.
@Fergus Rainbow: Adj. 1. curmudgeonly – brusque and surly and forbidding; “crusty remarks”; “a crusty old man”; “his curmudgeonly temper”; “gruff manner”; “a gruff reply”
gruff, ill-humored, ill-humoured, crusty
ill-natured – having an irritable and unpleasant disposition
Not sure…might have to find an offline dictionary to decode all that
An offline dictionary?
Is that a book? A big papery thing?
I’m not certain I like the crustiness, but the rest of it sits well
@Fergus Rainbow: Yes it is a book, made of paper, unfortunately they failed to have a search engine built into them, relying only on ‘the alphabet’, which isn’t taught so widely as what it once was anymore.
@Fergus Rainbow: and what I forgot to say was that we now have #1 in google for ‘serre chevalier twitter’ – there is method in my madness you see.
