Snow’s a-coming, a foot of the stuff this week, bleedin’ freezing I tell you, dress warm, -20 was noted by the river.
Village gossip, some cheeky blokes tried to break into the flashest ski shop in Monetier town, Stawug was the scene of a late night burgley attempt. It seems as if the thieves were only interested in cash and left the Lacroix skis alone, some people eh?
Anyway there’s a big new security door now, so that’s as it should be.
On a good news front two people won Eur30,000 between them on little sratch card tckets from the Tabac shop opposite Stawug. Just to cheer you up they were young and tourists, so that more than paid for their holiday.
The locals are not best pleased by this, most of them having been playing for years. Still gamblng – it’s a fool’s game.
