We’ve had all sorts of weather today, started off snowing, I’d say 10cm in Monetier, this stopped by about 9am and an hour or so later further down the valley towards Briancon.
Then we had mostly white out with patches of blue over Serre Chevalier, which reversed to become blue with wisps by mid to late afternoon.
There also seemed to be a biting wind that confused me as to which thickness of trousers I should be in, so managed to spend the day not even doing “administration”. The snow up there looks great and the people I harass at the bus stop for details all say it’s lovely.
The highlight of my day was speaking to Rick and we are planning our first ever joint ski tomorrow – promise. Tags: patches of blue, french alps france, sun on snow, Serre Chevalier, weather today, active web
