My new pin-up
In my fitness regime I now try and go for a daily walk in the valley, maybe a run or a hike, but just to get me moving I like to take an hour or so with the dog. I’m not certain I think of walking as exercise but it’s a great time to gather what thoughts I have left.
The other day I was pondering the announcement Heather Mills is considering trying out for the 2014 Winter Paralympics, like most people I have that knee-jerk dislike reaction to hearing her name, but walking along allowed me to wonder why.
She’s a former “lingerie model”, likes skiing and got some GBP25 million when she split from Paul McCartney – what’s not to like?
She says she gave most of that cash away to charity, but even so I reckon she’s canny enough to have kept a reasonable sized cushion for a fairly comfortable life.
Why did we all side with Maccer? Just because she wasn’t a vegetarian she got pilloried and surely he’s been around long enough to know the score?
I say Serre Chevalier welcomes Heather to come and train anytime she likes, sorry we ever doubted you, something made us forget McCartney gave us Wings.

I did hear once that she lost a ski, complete with boot and artificial leg once. The snow brakes on the ski did of course not engage, so pretty dangerous really.
