I had a nice email from Dave Blandon this morning, who must have been reading SerreChevalier.ORG’s topic on Laundry: Getting a line on laundry. he also made an enquiry about ski hire too, so I’ll answer that here too.
Laundry
“Try using nikwax ‘basewash’ It does work with synthetic base layers (and socks) – If you cannot get the base wash I can bring some out in Jan, also available at Amazon, Nikwax Basewash 300ml.”
Ski Hire:
“I’m coming to Le Bez in Jan 2011. Female in party wants to hire salomon ‘Ladies’. Do you know who/where we can hire them?”
I’ll answer this below as a comment.

There are quite a few ski hire shops in the Villeneuve area, but the biggest, best and friendliest is Ski Connections at the main Pre Long area (it’s up the steps opposite the climbing wall).
I’m sure Davina will be able to find her some nice Salomon Ladies! I can’t make their site work for equipment at the moment, I’ll email Davina and get her to confirm they have those particular ones.
