I think the most popular thing, in terms of feedback, ever posted here was about washing machines and their usage during a ski holiday, so milking that surprising font here we go.
I have one of those synthetic under-shirt things that wicks wetness, stops wind and is generally better than cotton for being in on the mountain. Trouble is it does stink up quite quickly, after lunch usually. I might be all fresh and lovely, like a butch Mary Archer in fact, but this thing has a scent of its own.
I spoke to Jackson at the Alpine Transfer Company and he has a similarly stinky shirt in the same material, so it’s not just me.
Today’s query is: Is there anyway to de-odorise the brute? I know sticking carbon briquettes in shoes and then sealing them in a bag works there, but have no idea how to deal with this issue. I suspect bi-carbonate of soda might help somehow, but no idea why.
