Darren Turner makes UK top 10

by Fergus Rainbow on January 27, 2012

Everybody’s favourite Serre Che-based ski instructor and all round poppet Mr Darren Turner has just made the UK’s Independent newspaper’s Top 10 Best Ski Apps.

Darren runs Insight ski school and is the originator of the Ski School App, which allows you to download a tiny monitor for your pocket. A veritable leprechaun of information for you to glean insights even as you sit on the lift.

It is for this that The Independent listed Herr Turner – coming in at number seven on the list. They list his intermediate, but there are all levels available from those who are buckling up their boots for the first time all the way up to those who want to attack the moguls. He’s even branching into kit reviews if you want to see what the tech’s going on with new equipment.

If you want to experience Darren in the flesh I can’t recommend any one stronger for one on one lessons, he’s based in Chantermerle and you can often see his distinctive ochre jacket around Serre Ratier.

Serre Chevalier d’org salutes this local hero, keep on keepin’ on Darren.

That’s a very brief comment to get a link to your site ;) but it looks cool, so no problem there – why don’t you post some of your photos/posters on http://www.facebook.com/SerreChevalier.ORG ? It’d be fun to see and you’ll get some nice free traffic – win win…
