Clos Jouffrey Zone Arisanale

by Rick Lomas on June 24, 2010

Zone Artisanale Clos JouffreyThere is a new ‘retail park’ being built between St Chaffrey and La Gerade, work started proper on 22-6-2010.  This is of particular interest to me as it’s about a 10 minute walk from my house.

So far, as I can work out, from a document on line from last December, there will be 23 units available with sizes from 332 sqm is the smallest unit, going up to 2 units at the largest size of 1220 sqm.

Personally I’d like to see a nice cool pub down there, some late night shops and reasonably priced supermarket; as my only option without getting in the car is Aldi at the moment, which is a bit like shopping in Sarajevo (actually that isn’t fair – Lonely Planet voted Sarajevo as the 43rd best city in The World).  However I do fear that the Clos Jouffrey ZA will be a collection of a few overpriced fleece shops which will be shut for 6 months a year, but…we’ll see.

Anyway I will aim to keep you posted about the development of the Clos Jouffrey Zone Arisanale.
