If you ever wondered if the UK government controlled Met Office was working to orders this might help, as flight restrictions are lifted across the UK.
Fresh from their “incompetence” at modelling climate change/ prediction models and coming up with claims the summer would be lovely and the winter mild, this bunch of – is liars too strong? – has now been accused of cocking it up again – this time for triggering the closure of much of the Europe’s skies and costing UK companies some GBP1.6 billion.
Ooh that’s gotta sting.
No wonder none of the polititians is making political capital at the expense of the government body that used a computer simulation using “Probability” rather than fact to come up with the Chicken Little scenario that the sky would cause planes to fall from the sky.
I know I veer towards the conspiracy view, but it’s been long held that travel would be made more and more difficult to the point of why bother, 1984 lays that out, but this knee-jerk “close the airports” on the back of fabricated data does fit the bill. The full body scans (complete with DNA damage) is another step of the goose variety. We even had the spectre of Dunkirk with military vessels involved in a further step towards an overtly militarised state, these are worrying signs.
On the climate change stuff – they made it up, in my mind to sell a global carbon tax scheme – that’s a worldwide tax – and destroy our means of industrial production. They might not tax us for breathing, but they sure want to tax us breathing out.
I just hope it won’t cock up next year’s ski plans to Serre Chevalier, four days left before we’re locked down.
It’s a lovely morning so I’m going to escape the house after feeding the kids for a couple of hours – the weather is permitting.
