Two weeks without an internet is quite a horrible experience for me, I was in England touring the kids, my parents don’t believe in it, but I can use the local library, if I can get a booking – there is a certain look to people who don’t have a computer at home, somewhat unkempt and they travel with a bag that seems to contain their worldly possessions, that takes ages to load and unload and the ends of their session.
Rick is right about my aversion to all things Apple, I tried a friend’s iphone and remain even more anti-Mac. I don’t know how his fingers can regularly get a blog out of that touch screen thing, I ended up quite vexed.
It’s nice to be back in Serre Chevalier, the weather is scorching, but with a regular storm in the late afternoon. London was just too hot, especially at night, here it’s just right.
We’ve done the summer solstice, so it would seem as if we’re nearer the ski season than ever, five and a half months now – that’s not too bad is it?
