Just got back down, honestly the weirdest light I’ve ever seen up there. It was a very bright, flat, grey luminescence – amazing.
It was even weirder as I got to the top of L’Yret, it was as if the world had flooded again, a sheet of almost Wedgewood blue hung over the valley, like a very, very still ocean. It was even more pronounced through my yellow specs, but I think it’s still pretty visible in the picture.
It was as if a tsunami was bearing down on the Alps, but as God’s promised us fire next time I didn’t panic too much.
We’re predicted a dusting tonight and then a bit of a fall early in the week, with the sun breaking out again for Thursday and the weekend.
