Further to the Christmas bomber story (and I use that word pointedly), CNN has been covering the introduction of the full body scanners, because well you expect some in depth coverage of such a draconian measure.

Who do you think the respected news channel asked when they went to pump the public on the issue?

A bunch of whores, I’m not making it up. The question “What do you think of full body scanners?” Was posed at the AVN Awards in Las Vegas. AVN is Adult Video News and is basically the porn industry’s trade magazine.

The event was even held at the Palms, so at least they have a sense of humour.

So to recap a bunch of hookers who get paid to have sex on camera were asked whether or not they’d mind being ogled by TSA pervs by CNN.

Despite Ron Jeremy adding some gravitas and using the term “adult star”, I couldn’t help thinking CNN sees its audience as a bunch of wankers.

Oddly enough the “stars” mostly seemed to think “racial profiling” was the answer.

Just to continue tapping that vein, on a health kick, these “backscatter” x-rays don’t actually emit X-rays, but T-rays, or THz waves (terahertz waves), which is radiation that is positioned between microwaves and infrared rays on the electromagnetic spectrum.

Well I read a report on Boian Aleandrov, of the Center for Nonlinear Studies at Los Alamos National Laboratory, who said T-rays tear apart human DNA.

CNN has also added that the machines can store and send images, so we can expect to all be turned into amateur porn stars soon.

Whatcha gonna do about it?
