Happy Birthday Fergus (Rainbow)

by Rick Lomas on January 12, 2010

licor-43-cuarenta-y-tresOh dear…for people who like drunkeness, frivolity and a tendancy to do Bacchanalian things – we didn’t hook up today….so what is it 41 (no can’t be) …42 – the meaning of life? or maybe 43 (ish) – if so, there is, a rather nice spanish drink;
Licor 43, also known as “Cuarenta Y Tres” (meaning 43 in spanish) is a liqueur made in Spain for over 1800 years, dating back to the time of the Carthaginians. It is a bright yellow color and derives it’s name from the fact that it is supposedly a mixture of 43 different ingredients, fruits and herbs. It has a sort of vanilla like flavor and  tastes like the sweet piss of the gods :roll:

Seriously though dude – if I hadn’t been moving server today and the wife hadn’t gone skiing and you didn’t have to see whoever you had to see today then we might have partaken some ales. Friday I reckon – although I have to play bass guitar at 4pm.

Was your birthday always like this in Hong Kong?

Happy Birthday from Rick, Sue, Madeline,Rosalie and the SerreChevalier.ORG team.

I haven’t been so touched for a long time.
I like all things Carthageginian, but I was actually 42, so will put that on hold.
An ale would be nice, so cheers

@Humphrey Cuzner:
Not certain if this will get to you,
anyway, thanks, if belatedly, just stumbled across this now, so sorry for the seven month delay.
Will try and get your email proper from the system and send a proper catch-up.
Fergus

was in Simpsons in June, book shop now, as you probably know
