Here are some reviews that I found so far:
Review 1: I stayed in this hotel with friends, and we were all very pleased with our stay here. The hotel is picturesque and in keeping with the local vernacular style. The hotel is located at the base of a mountain, and just a short walk to the ski slopes. The rooms were lovely, well proportioned, with a separate kitchen/dining/living area. Perfect for a family or a small group of friends. The rooms were very clean and cosy, even though the overall design leant towards contemporary.
Review 2: The restaurant offered great service and value for money, and the restaurant staff were friendly, and good humoured.
The reception staffs were also very friendly, ordering taxis and booking restaurants, and generally went of their way to be helpful.
I would recommend this hotel to friends and family and will hopefully return soon.
Review 3: Just back from a week skiing holiday with my husband and two children staying in the Best Western Premier Chantemerle. This hotel is just open in the last few months and locals told us it was the best in the area. This was our 1st ski holiday and we couldn’t have picked a better location. I decided to book everything myself but it was a lot easier thanks to Lucy in the Best Western, she not only organised the room she also sorted my lift passes, equipment rental, airport transfers and ski lessons. We even got a 20% discount on the rentals. We opted for a two bedroom apartment that was very spacious and can with a fully equipped kitchen which was great for the nights we decided to stay in. The breakfast buffet was very good and set us up for our days in the mountains .We ate in the hotel restaurant one night and it was very good. The hotel was a short walk to the ski lifts, shops, bars and restaurants. The staffs were extremely helpful and the Manager, Cristofe, was always available to offer advice. But this was a ski holiday and Chantemerle did not disappoint. The scenery was amazing and the snow plentiful
Thanks to Darren from Insight Ski: he took us from raw beginners to the green and blue slopes in three days. He did it all with a sense of humour and great patience. Thanks to him we are hooked and looking forward to returning next year and staying in the Best Western Serre Chevalier Chalet 52.
Review 4 Super spacious room, very comfortable beds and friendly staff. From what I saw, the Serre Chevalier Chalet 52 must have been one of the top hotels in Serre Chevalier. Had a north facing room which was nice as we couldn’t hear the road.
