There’s a new supermarket in town. Well not exactly new, but a rebranded Shopi or some may know it as the Brio which was before that. It’s not cheap of course, because it is right in the middle of town, but the opening times are good.
It is open from 7-22:00 Monday to Saturday and 9-13:00 on a Sunday. This is well worth noting when you have forgotten your chicken for your Sunday roast or something like that.
My usual Sunday morning excursion is to go and get The Sunday Times from the Maison de la Presse in the Rue Central and then pick up anything I have forgotten during the week from the (now) Carrefour City. It has a car park and even seems to have an additional underground car park too. Happy Days.
