I had a report this site was down so just checking it’s all OK, while I’m here – I’ll just say that although it’s a bit on the chilly side, today is a lovely sunny day and the wind has dropped. If it weren’t for my big toe injury I’d be up there myself today.

Well well well, after all this talk about the lack of snow, look what happened. The Serre Chevalier deneigement blokes have been going up and down the road since 5am, but even now there is still well packed snow on the Route Nationale.

The ski area of Serre Chevalier opens partially from December the 12th, 2009 on Monêtier les Bains sector.
The ski area will open progressively from that day regarding the evolution of snow conditions.
