Maison Larré – Briançon (Serre Chevalier 1200)

Maison Larré is simply a beautiful Chalet situated on the edge of Briancon (Serre Chevalier 1200) close to all the amenities in the mountains of Serre Chevalier. It can accommodate 16 people in total with all the bedrooms ensuite with mountain views. It has a spacious lounge with a Log burning fire, with LCD with satellite TV, I pod docking station and WIfi Internet access. In addition there is a large DVD, CD and Book Library. The kitchen is fully equipped with fridge, freezer and range cooking facilities. There is a large south facing sun terrace overlooking the mountains, with a large private garden. There is a large ski room and garage for ski store and mountain/racing bike store.

The accommodation can be booked on a fully Catered basis – which consists of a 4 course evening meal with unlimited wine or booked on Bed and Breakfast or self catering. Bookings accepted for 2 people upwards for a week or part. There is ample off road parking.

Maison Larré is situated on the outskirts of Briançon, the highest town in Europe, just 13km from the French-Italian border. Briançon is an ancient fortress town, walled and fortified and with exceptional architectural heritage. The town has many sights to see, with drawbridge entrances, cobbled streets (some of them with a ‘gargoyle’ – a small stream running down them) and a host of traditional French restaurants hidden away among the side streets. The lower town is an active commercial centre with shops, weekly market, cafes and restaurants and all the leisure amenities you would expect of a modern French town. In addition is part of the fantastic Serre Chevalier ski area and part of the ‘Tour de France’ bike race route.
