La Claire Fontaine, Chantemerle, Serre Chevalier 1350
This Serre Chevalier apartment is one of six in a building called La Claire Fontaine. It is a large 3rd floor apartment with a mezzanine in a converted traditional village house right in the centre of Chantemerle (Serre Chevalier 1350) and only a couple of minutes walk from the ski lifts. The apartment sleeps 6 people in 3 bedrooms.
The well-appointed apartment features the following:
- A large double bedroom, which can be used as a family room with space for a cot or spare mattress.
- One bedroom with 2 single beds
- One bunk room (sleeps 2)
- Bathroom comprising shower, washbasin and toilet.
- A living room with sofas, dining table, chairs, TV, DVD player (a range of DVDs and books are provided for guests) and stereo.
- Kitchen facilities include a brand new 4 ring Smeg hob, microwave, refrigerator, kettle, toaster, storage cupboards etc.
- South-facing balcony. Views directly onto the mountains and the piste Luc Alphand, the Olympic black run down into the village. Also views of the old village of Chantemerle, the river and larch forest.
- Electric heaters in each room
- Ski locker with high security lock on the ground floor of the building
- Parking situated 30 metres from the building
- Bed linen is provided. We ask guests to bring their own bathroom towels.
Apartment La Claire Fontaine is situated in the old part of the village of Chantemerle,
(Serre Chevalier 1350), yet it is only a 3 minute level walk to the ski lifts, ticket office, ski and snowboard rental shops and the Serre d’Aigle shopping centre, with cashpoint, bakery and supermarket.
If you wish to eat out there are excellent tried and tested restaurants also within a couple of minutes of the apartment, such as Le Bistrot , Le Loup Blanc, L’Arbre Pain, and La Cabassa. Bar Kitzbühel also offers traditional French cuisine, whose pizzas and crêpes are highly recommended.
The advantage of staying at apartment La Claire Fontaine is its very practical location married with comfort and great facilities. Everything for a great holiday is either already at the apartment or available on the doorstep.
The apartment is managed locally by an English couple, who have lived and worked in the area since 2001.
