Gary Glitter

Are you a celeb? Are you married/ shacked up with one? Serre Chevalier isn’t very celeb-full, there is a French singer who had loads of hits in the 80s who has a chalet down the road, but honestly the only international celeb in the valley is Luc Alphand and he’s famous for being a skier, so that doesn’t count.

It would be nice if a swanky bunch breezed into town, not A-list maybe but something off the telly, or a bit faded, sort of a Marc Almond or a kids show presenter. I’d rather cut my own balls off rather than see Bono Vox on the pistes here.

It’s just a shame Gary Glitter’s somewhat off the list these days, mind you another well known child molester, Roman Polanski, is perfectly acceptable in a Gstaad chalet, so maybe there’s hope for the leader of the gang.

(Just to put it into perspective the 13 year old child Polanski admitted to having unlawful sexual intercourse with was violated every-which way and was full of booze and drugs – making consensual a bit of a leap).

So perhaps not a child molester then, someone less evil, maybe a notorious rocker or disgraced politician, but again with limits, not say Idi Amin or Tzipi Livni – I don’t care if she’s got a cast lead excuse.

So if you fit the bill, were you in Big Brother/ Survivor/ X-Factor reject? Then get on over, you really will be a star here, we’ll do a photo shoot and have swanky cocktails, it’ll be sweet. If not we’ll have to let the pistes talk for themselves.
