Hallelujah – Happy Mondays

A Happy Monday
Just got back to Monetier, after a brief spell in Alsace (full article to follow), snowed all the way there, best minimum temp seen with me own eyes -17º, that’s so cold I have no idea what the use of that is.
Driving back with much nicer conditions but as we aimed for the Lauterat Pass – oddly enough such a famous place even the Alsatians have heard of it – just after coming through Grenoble and the white stuff fell like riders at the Grand National.
It was a bit of a disappointment reaching the top, it just stopped at 2058m. Nothing, zilch, to be honest it twisted my melon man. However a few hours later and Bob’s yer uncle, the weather man didn’t half step on it, it’s teaming, so start thinking about your holiday now, cut loose, fit in the car and get on over, it’s going to be a spectacular week with this much powder, anyone coming is going to find the harmony of the valley very special.
I’m sure this will be more than a 24 hour party, people How many Happy Monday’s track are in there?Write in and get a cheese baguette delivered to a ski lift of your choice, unless you’re suffering from lazyitis. It’s a shame I couldn’t get Kinky Afro in – or did I? Pills and Thrills is 20 years old, oi vey.
