Snow conditions Thursday 25th January 2007
Finally we’ve had a decent dump of snow and the temperatures have dropped absurdly to -10 at 9am this morning and below zero for most of the day.
Had a superb ski yesterday at Grand Alpe, but very very cold requiring many layers of good thermal clothing and warm headgear. Mmm… went up to the summit at Serre Chevalier, altitude 2491 and nearly froze my face off, and the surface was very icy. Stayed on piste, which had some nice powdery bits to the sides, although some runs were quite heavy going.
Excellent fun, be here!
